Q. Why are my plants bolting and going to seed?

A. Bolting is the plants survival mechanism. It will bolt to produce seed if the enviroment causes stress to the plant. i.e. in spring if you plant early and the there are subsequent repeated cold snaps, then the plants will bolt. Can also be brought on by too dry, too wet or any other stress factor.

S. Anyway that you can mediate the temp and weather change will reduce the risk of bolting. Our customers are using Therm Cloth over the top of garden frames and are reporting great results.
